A stem and leaf plot is an efficient way to display data and works by splitting each observation, or number, into 2 parts; the stem or the leaf. The stem is the first digit/s, and the leaves are the remaining digits. Looking somewhat like a histogram once completed, the plot is an easy way to visually display observation values.
