Planimetric Map

A planimetric map is similar to a topographic map, in that it depicts features of the Earth's surface including geographic objects, natural and cultural features, and other entities. The difference, is that planimetric maps only display horizontal features, leaving out elevation and relief of things. The map above is planimetric, and shows different building structures, waterways, streets, etc.
