Population Profile

Population profiles depict data collected from a certain population, based on certain variables such as age, race, income, and male-to-female ratios. The chart usually has 2 categories displayed on the x-axis, many times male and female, and another category, such as age, displayed on the y-axis. The chart shows the composition of that population based on those variables. In this chart, the District of Columbia's population is categorized by male or female, and the age is displayed as well.
